Public versus private feeds

What's the difference between public and private podcast feeds?

A public podcast feed is one where listeners can access podcast episodes for free through popular apps like Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, and Spotify. These podcasts are typically monitored via ads.

A private podcast feed is one where listeners pay a subscription fee to access exclusive content such as ad-free episodes, exclusive interviews, extended episodes, and AMAs. Supercast allows you to create and monetize this type of content, and deliver it through your listeners favourite podcast apps.
